Thrive Market Staples

At the beginning of quarantine when grocery stores were sold out of basically all pantry staples, I started a subscription to Thrive Market (free to students and veterans!) in order to get what I needed delivered. Since then, I have gotten a few more orders and discovered some favorite items from them. Check out my favorites so far below.

I’ve loved Biena Chickpea Snacks for a while now (the Ranch and Cinnamon & Sugar are the best!), but these Sea Salt ones have been my go to snack and salad topper lately.

Don’t ask me why it took me so long to get on the flaky sea salt train, but these are great for cooking or baking. I add them as a finisher on most dishes for a little extra something.

It can be hard to find non-dairy milks without a lot of extra stuff in them that also don’t cost a million dollars, so when I came across this product I had to give it a try. All you do is blend a couple tablespoons with water to make your own nut milk at home, in a much easier way than soaking nuts and filtering out milk from your blender (trust me).

If you have a hard time finding gluten or corn free tortilla chips, these are the perfect alternative. I’ve used them up with both guacamole and nachos and if I hadn’t known they were made with Cassava Flour, I wouldn’t have been able to tell.

I love jerky as a quick snack but have a hard time finding flavors without onion or black pepper. This Turkey Jerky is the perfect flavor and free of everything you don’t want in a snack.

Pecan butter isn’t something you normally come across in the grocery store, so when I saw it at Thrive Market I had to get it. It has been perfect for dipping apples and celery in for something a little different than peanut butter.

Speaking of nut butters, cashew butter is a great neutral flavored butter that you can use in smoothies, baking, whatever. The squeeze pouch on Thrive Market’s version makes for easy measuring and storage.

I’ve bought a couple different spices through Thrive Market now and all have been great. They are really fresh and come in smaller pouches so that you aren’t stuck with jars of spices forever. I use this Za’atar spice in my Moroccan Spiced Rotisserie Chicken recipe, but it goes great on vegetables too.

I don’t eat asian food a lot, mostly because I don’t like the flavors, but this coconut amino sauce is a game changer. It’s not as salty as soy sauce but the flavor adds a little sweetness to your food without being overpowering. I used it recently for pork potstickers and would definitely do so again.

My brush that I use for doing dishes was getting pretty gross after a month or two of cooking all meals at home during quarantine so I decided to try these out. They have been great for getting cooked on messes off the dishes but not scratching the surfaces.
