Top 10 Post- August 23, 2019

With summer coming to an end, I am all about convenience and planning ahead. The less time in the kitchen and the more time spent by the pool, the better. Here’s all of the things I am loving this week!

This easy dinner from Rachael DeVaux of Rachael’s Good Eats.

These new workout capris from Calia by Carrie Underwood. I have multiple pairs in other patterns and they are the most comfortable workout pants I own. I am loving this new pattern they just brought out for their fall collection.

The Environmental Working Group’s website for finding sunscreen safe for the environment and you. Summer might be almost over, but wearing sunscreen even through winter is a must! My current favorite face sunscreen is this one from Coppertone. It doesn’t make my face greasy and lasts all day, which is a must in Arizona.

I found this recipe from The Minimalist Baker a couple of weeks ago and have been wanting to try them out. They look like the perfect snack option for the busy end of summertime.

If you need a quick read before school summer ends, I read this book earlier this year and couldn’t put it down.

I had only ever heard of using honey in face masks, but not for fully washing your face before this article from The Everygirl. I experimented with honey after this article and definitely noticed a difference whenever I’ve used it.

While you’re waiting for your weekend face mask to do its magic, look up some videos on YouTube from Bon Appetit. I discovered the channel a couple of months ago and have gotten sucked in by the team’s personalities and antics. Think The Office but in the kitchen.

Speaking of Bon Appetit, check out this super easy Caesar Salad from their basically section. It’s an easy summer dinner or side.

Another product I just tried was Micellar Water. I had heard about this stuff for years and finally gave it a try when my usual toner was used up. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for something gentle and easy to cleanse your face.

If you need some new music for your weekend, check out The Driver Era. Spotify recommended them to me and I have been listening to their album pretty much daily ever since.
